What are the Investment, Utilization, and Liquidation Periods?

  • Investment Period: the time allocated to raising capital for the fund, acquire residences, and launch operations. This phase typically lasts 4-5 years, depending on the fund size.
  • Utilization Period: begins once the Investment Period is complete and typically lasts 10 years. During this time, the fund is fully operational, allowing investors to enjoy utilization of the properties.
  • Liquidation period: follows the Utilization Period and is the time during which we sell the homes and distribute the sales proceeds – invested capital plus appreciation – to investors.

What is the average investment per home in the Equity Euro Fund?

The average investment amount per home is around €2.48M

As an investor in Equity Euro Fund, will I be able to travel to other homes in the Equity Residences portfolios?

Yes, you will have access to all of the Equity Residences portfolios as the Equity Euro Fund investor.

How does THIRDHOME access work for Equity Platinum Fund 2 investors?

When you join Equity Platinum Fund 2, you will receive a complimentary THIRDHOME membership for one calendar year. During that first year, you can book 60-day short-notice trips at a nominal cost to you through their website. After your initial year with ThirdHome, you can choose to buy their membership for yourself and pay a low negotiated membership fee.

How does access to Elite Alliance work?

When you join the Equity Platinum Fund 2, you will receive a complimentary Elite Alliance membership for 3 years. After this time, you can deposit 30 credits in your Elite Alliance account to extend the no-fee period, or buy a Core membership for $495 per year.

Do the THIRDHOME and Elite Alliance memberships expire or change during the life of the fund?

We have contracts with both networks for the life of the fund you invest in. Unless you choose not to continue your memberships, your exchange network privileges remain the same throughout your investment tenure.

As members of these prestigious networks, our owners have access to a wide range of luxury vacation homes around the world. They have the same privileges as other members when it comes to scheduling vacations. This is a great bonus for our owners as they can take advantage of a vast portfolio of domestic and international luxury vacation homes available for their trips.

A THIRDHOME credit transfer is typically completed within one business day, meaning the process is speedy and hassle-free.
